Amphenol's Field Installable SC Connectors provide a fast and reliable solution for terminating bulk fiber and cable in the field. Designed for quick installation without epoxy curing, polishing, or fusion splicing, they enable technicians to achieve high-quality fiber terminations while reducing installation time and complexity.
Engineered for dependable performance, the connectors feature a factory pre-polished ferrule that delivers low insertion loss and consistent optical performance. Compatible with single-mode 900 μm fiber and up to 3 mm jacketed cable, they support a wide range of installation requirements across fiber access networks.
Available in SC/APC and SC/UPC configurations, these connectors are well suited for Fiber to the Home (FTTH), fiber distribution cabinets, enterprise networks, and protected outdoor enclosures. Their wide operating temperature range and rugged design ensure reliable long-term performance in demanding deployment environments.
